Effect of temperature

Rarely ever, in real life, do we have to deal with diffusion of gases at room temp. Is there a rule of thumb to estimate the rate of diffusion at eleveated temperatures.
Clearly the precise answer depends on the gas and the plastic in question. What I am looking for is an answer like "the diffusion rate increases per 10 C by a factor 2 or 100 or 1000.
My specific interest is carbon dioxide CO2 and high density polyethylene HDPE, but an order of magnitude approximation for 50-60 C would be useful.
For eaxample if the coke bottle in your example would be sitting in a non-airconditioned warehouse in
Singapore, what would be the diffusion rate?
Thanks,
Istvan
